Puddle Sourcing is designed so source-account sessions stay local to your Mac and BrowserOS. The hosted platform stores account access, roles, run metadata, candidate records, and review decisions needed to operate the product.

Source passwords, cookies, sessions, inbox HTML, and profile HTML stay local. During screenshot-guided search setup, the desktop sends one bounded viewport image and accessibility snapshot to an authenticated visual decision endpoint using an OpenAI request with application storage disabled. Puddle does not persist those frames in local files, desktop state, chat history, diagnostics, logs, or its hosted database. OpenAI may process or temporarily retain inputs under its abuse-monitoring, safety, or legal requirements. Only categorical run progress and resulting candidate records are retained by Puddle.
